Kebab in Mountain View

Adana, kofte, chicken shish and lamb shish — as plates or wrapped in toasted bread.

Kebab at Anatolia Fire

Kebab covers more ground than most menus admit. Adana is hand-seasoned ground meat on a wide skewer. Kofte is shaped into patties. Shish is cubed meat threaded onto steel. These are different dishes with different textures, and calling all three kebab hides more than it explains.

We serve each of them the way it should be served. Every kebab is available as a plate with rice pilaf, toasted bread and house salad at $19.95, or wrapped in toasted bread as a sandwich at $13.95. Same meat, same grill, different format.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between adana and shish kebab?

Adana is ground meat, hand-seasoned and pressed onto a wide flat skewer. Shish is cubed whole meat threaded onto a thin skewer, which gives it more charred surface and a firmer bite.

Which kebab is the spiciest?

Adana. It carries a medium red pepper heat. Kofte, chicken shish and lamb shish are all mild.

Can I get any kebab as a sandwich?

Yes. Every kebab on the menu is available as a $19.95 plate or a $13.95 sandwich.
